In our research, 67% of executives say their procurement function is adept at mitigating risks with suppliers. But when we dig deeper, the story isn’t quite so rosy.
- Just 1 in 3 execs say their procurement function’s supplier risk management is highly effective
- Only 1/2 of execs regularly refresh risk mitigation plans to address potential disruptions
Despite these readiness challenges, a group of organizations in our survey are better at automatically interpreting and making recommendations about supplier risk.
